I love driving South to the Monterey and Pacific Grove Region, especially during summer. Its just a short drive down from the Bay Area, but looks like an incredible getaway for sure. The charming little town of Pacific Grove is so stunning and the perfect Norcal coastal town. It has a great downtown, beautiful beaches and drives and other fun activities whether you want to spend an afternoon, day or the entire weekend here. One of my favorite local beaches here which is right in town is Lover’s Point , its a pretty little cove with a very calm beach and suprsingly not-so-cold water that I can actually get into the water on a hot afternoon! The beautiful rocks and the calm waters (which looks turquoise on a sunny day!) make the scenery just drop dead gorg!
I wore this playful lace up tunic coverup dress from Cool Change for the day. I love all the tassel detailing like the tassel tie at the drop waist and tassel trimmings on the skirt & sleeve. Its safe to say that my tassel obsession is now a real thing haha! The tunic is super soft and so comfy, it was made for hot summer days, Ill be surely packing this little number for our next trip.
I wore it with a beautiful water printed bikini from Midori Bikinis. The top has a stylish cross-back design and a flattering “u” shaped front, while the bottom has string sides and a cheeky back. The best part of this two piece is that it not only is super soft+comfy but also has a seamless design!
Giant floppy hats are a must for beach days. These days the ones with big messages or personalized ones are super popular. I found this “I’m busy” one for a great price at ASOS, how cute is it?! As for the rest of my accessories, I finished the look with a straw beach tote and a shell headband (as seen in bikini pics) that can also be worn as a necklace (as seen in the dress pics).
