I am always in a tropical state of mind, whether I am actually basking in the tropics or back at home in the bay. And honestly my camera roll is proof haha, it is filled with pics of palm trees, pretty little tropical corners, sunsets, beaches and the like. So clearly this MinkPink tropical jumpsuit and I are a match made in heaven. The colorful palm print makes me want to pack my bags and head on a vacay stat! I love the little tie knot detail in the front and side cutouts that lead to an open back. The legs of the jumpsuit are high waisted , wide and so flattering – they are guaranteed to give you legs for days, especially when paired with a fun pair of heels like these raffia ones. The print also comes in a dress and romper version which are just as cute. I finished the look with the blue Cuppajyo hat and a layered necklace from Capwell. My hats have been backordered but will be in stock by the end of the month yay! Have you grabbed one yet? Memorial day is coming up and they would be the perfect summer hat !
Speaking of tropical prints I know I dress a lot like I am on a permanent vacation ;), and thats cos I believe that if you can’t head somewhere tropical, why don’t bring the tropics to you! The easiest way to do it is to incorporate vacay elements in your outfit and make it more appropriate to your local environment. Perhaps throw on a denim jacket over it, or dress down a palm printed dress with sneakers. These prints are vivid, lively and super cute for spring/summer and I can vouch that happy prints not only give you all the tropical feels but are also a complete mood uplifter! Also linked some other tropical palm prints in clothing and accessories I am loving in the second and third carousel below.
